Don Enright

Don Enright has been a birder, nature photographer, and general nature nerd since the age of 11. Don has worked as an interpretive naturalist for City of Calgary Parks, Capital Regional District Parks, and Alberta Parks. He was the public programming manager at Stanley Park Ecology and manager of interpretive delivery at Vancouver Aquarium, as well as programs coordinator at Calgary Zoo. Don worked as a Visitor Experience Advisor for Parks Canada before hanging out his own shingle as an independent interpretive planner with Don Enright Consulting. Don was principal researcher, writer and field naturalist of “For The Birds”, a documentary series on migratory birds and ecotourism, filmed in Costa Rica and Canada. He was the on-camera host of Think Big, a documentary focusing on wildlife corridors from Yellowstone to the Yukon, and was also co-founder of The Evergreen Co-op, a touring company that uses theatre to educate children about the natural world. Don has travelled to over 50 countries as the on-board naturalist for Celebrity Cruises. He currently resides in the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia.
